Fife U3A

Welcome to our organisation

Are you older but looking to learn new experiences? Then Fife U3A may be for you...

The University of the Third Age is a bit of a misleading title as there are no exams, no tests, and no paid teachers. It is more a self help organisation. The point of the U3A is its commitment to shared learning for people who are retired or not in paid employment and who want to continue to use their brains.

The U3A has an ever growing membership in Britain with 250,000 members and rising. In Scotland there are 32 U3As, each run by its own members but with backup from U3A in Scotland and from the parent Third Age Trust. Its members have a wealth of experience and enthusiasm but what makes the U3A different from other organisations for the retired is its interest groups. Have a look at our Groups page for more information.

Please look around our site and contact us using the Contact page if you wish further information or to join. Alternatively non members can attend any two of our public meetings before becoming a member. See our Programme page for details.
